01 — The Hotel

A boutique hotel of dark wood, warm light and deep quiet, above the rooftops of Prishtina.

Lusso is a luxury boutique hotel in the centre of Prishtina, occupying the uppermost floors of IVY Tower. High above the streets, the lift opens directly onto a softly lit, panelled corridor — intimate, quiet and deliberately removed from the pace of the city below.

There is a sense that everything here has been considered more than once.

The wall panelling was made specifically for these rooms. Upholstered headboards are formed in a single uninterrupted piece. Lighting is kept low and warm, positioned to soften the room rather than fill it. Floor-to-ceiling, triple-glazed Schüco windows frame sweeping views across Prishtina while sealing the interiors away from the movement and sound of the city.

The beds were developed for Lusso rather than selected from a catalogue. At their centre is a bespoke eight-layer mattress, refined repeatedly until the balance between support and softness felt exactly right. Crisp cotton linen and a multi-pillow menu allow each guest to shape the bed around the way they sleep. Here, rest is treated as part of the architecture of the room, not simply an amenity.

Silence received the same attention. Insulated privacy walls, triple-glazed Schüco windows and full blackout shades separate each room from both the city and the hours of the day. Close the shades in the afternoon and the room becomes genuinely dark. Close the door at night and Prishtina seems considerably farther away than a few floors below.

The walls are hung rather than decorated. Original paintings and framed prints run the length of the corridors and the stair, each lit individually beneath a ceiling of fibre-optic stars — a small collection assembled for the hotel, and one of the things guests photograph most.

Lusso is intentionally small. There is no expansive lobby to navigate and little sense of being processed through a hotel. Instead, a short private corridor leads to a limited collection of individually crafted rooms and suites.

Service follows the same philosophy.

Our concierge is present to make the stay feel effortless, whether arranging a table at a sought-after restaurant, organising a private driver before sunrise, pressing a shirt before a meeting or remembering the preferences of a returning guest. The emphasis is not on formality, but anticipation — discreet service delivered when it is needed and absent when it is not.

For guests arriving by car, dedicated indoor parking is available within IVY Tower. The vehicle remains protected from the weather and off the street for the duration of the stay, with direct lift access from the building to the hotel above.

From Lusso, central Prishtina is immediately accessible, with the city's main boulevard, restaurants, cafés, cultural landmarks and business district only minutes away. Yet the experience inside feels intentionally separate from it.

A private place above the city.

03 — Why people stay

Ten reasons,
plainly put.

The bespoke eight-layer mattress made for Lusso boutique hotel, Prishtina
01

A bed to remember

A bespoke eight-layer mattress, refined again and again until support and softness balanced exactly. Crisp cotton linen, and a pillow menu so you can shape the bed around the way you sleep. It is the thing guests write to us about, almost without exception.

02

A concierge, in the old sense

The table at the restaurant that was fully booked, a driver before sunrise, a shirt pressed before your meeting — and your preferences remembered the next time you stay. Present when it matters, invisible when it does not.

03

The top floors, above the city

Lusso occupies the uppermost floors of IVY Tower, in the middle of Prishtina. Every room looks out over the city through floor-to-ceiling glass — rooftops, the boulevard, and the lights running out towards the plain. Everything is a walk away, and none of it is under your window.

One panel beside the bed for every light, every shade and the temperature — and the same controls on your phone. There is a working one further down this page.

A lounge and bar for guests only

A bar, a wall of books and a balcony over the rooftops — for the people staying here and nobody else. At eleven at night the room is yours.

Privacy, and silence

Insulated privacy walls, triple-glazed Schüco windows and full blackout shades. Close them in the afternoon and the room goes genuinely dark; close the door at night and the city stops at it.

Gigabit Wi-Fi 7 + Netflix

Quick enough to work a whole day on, in a room quiet enough that you actually will — and Netflix signed in and waiting for when you stop. Bring your own account if you prefer your own list.

08

An art collection, and interiors people photograph

Black lacquer, cognac leather, cane and brass — warm rather than loud. Original paintings and framed prints hang the length of the corridors and the stair, each lit on its own beneath a ceiling of fibre-optic stars. Guests stop in front of them on the way back from dinner.

A doorman, around the clock

Someone is on the door at every hour, with controlled access to the guest floors and to the garage below. Nobody reaches your corridor who is not staying on it — which is the quiet kind of security you only notice when it is missing.

04 — Smart rooms

Set the room

The panel is beside the bed, and the same controls are on your phone. Move the dials below — this is a real room, photographed at dusk. Close the shades fully and the room goes genuinely dark, at any hour.

05 — Rooms

Two kinds
of quiet.

Every room has the same bed, the same panel beside it and the same long view through floor-to-ceiling Schüco glazing. What changes is how much space you have around them. All are air-conditioned, insulated and en suite, with a walk-in rain shower in marble.

06 — The Lounge

A bar the
street cannot
walk into.

Black lacquer to the ceiling, a lit wall of bottles, a library nobody treats as decoration, and a balcony over the rooftops. Only guests come through the door, which is the entire point: at eleven at night the room is yours.

The best room in the building has no bed in it.

Coffee from early. A short list of wines we drink ourselves, something cold in the fridge, and a barman who remembers what you had last night. Put it on the room and settle it on the way out.

10 — Before you come

Questions we
are asked most.

Where exactly is the hotel in Prishtina?

Rr. Ali Pashë Tepelena 1, on the top floors of IVY Tower, in downtown Prishtina. Restaurants, cafés, the government quarter and the old town are all within a walk — you will not need a taxi to have dinner.

Is there parking at the hotel?

Yes — a dedicated indoor space within IVY Tower, kept for you for the whole stay, with direct lift access from the garage to the hotel. Send us your plate when you book and it will be waiting. It is one of the few hotels in the centre of Pristina where you never have to look for a place on the street.

Which part of Prishtina should I stay in?

The centre, if it is your first visit — almost everything a visitor comes to Prishtina for sits inside a fifteen-minute walk of Mother Teresa Boulevard, and the restaurants of Pejton begin a street away. We wrote the long version: where to stay in Prishtina, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.

How do I book a room?

Two ways. Book directly on our own booking page — live availability, our own rates, confirmed in a minute, with no agency between us. Or send your dates by message on WhatsApp to +383 48 588 777 or to @lusso.boutiquehotel on Instagram, and we will answer personally with what is free and what it costs.

Is parking free at the hotel?

Yes. Every guest who arrives by car gets a dedicated indoor space in the building's garage, included in the room rate for the whole stay, with direct lift access to the hotel. In central Prishtina that is worth more than it sounds — kerbside parking is scarce and getting scarcer.

Are pets allowed, and can I smoke?

Pets up to 20 kg are welcome — tell us when you book so we can put you in the right room. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, including the rooms and the balconies.

How much does a room cost, and is breakfast included?

Rooms run from about €70 to €130 a night depending on the room type and the season; live rates are on our booking page. Breakfast is not served in the hotel, but the concierge will send you to the right place a few minutes' walk away.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Tell us your flight or your meeting and we will hold the room later when the day’s arrivals allow it.

What is in the rooms?

A bed developed for Lusso around a bespoke eight-layer mattress, with crisp cotton linen and a pillow menu; smart lighting and full blackout shades controlled from beside the bed or from your phone; floor-to-ceiling triple-glazed Schüco windows; Netflix; gigabit internet over Wi-Fi 7; air conditioning; a marble bathroom with a walk-in rain shower; and a wide view over Prishtina.

Can I use the lounge if I am not staying?

No. The bar, the library and the balcony are for guests of the hotel only. That is what makes them quiet at eleven at night.

How far is Prishtina International Airport?

A short drive south-west of the city. Send us your flight number and we will have a car at the door when you land.

Is the hotel suitable for working?

It is built for it. Gigabit internet, insulated walls, a desk or a table in every room, and a library downstairs for when you want to be out of the room but not out of the building.

Come and stay.

Book directly with us on our own booking page — live availability, our rates, confirmed in a minute. Or send your dates on WhatsApp and we will answer ourselves, with what is free, what it costs, and whether we can hold the room until late.
